I am a game designer, director, UX specialist, entrepreneur and video game industry veteran with a massive passion for building strong teams, efficient workflows and finding the fun in all things. In my current role, I’m a Game Director on an innovative new IP, AAA game in preproduction, driving a large team to build a quality, novel experience.

Previously, I built the creative vision, studio culture and sustainable growth of BlueBat from its inception through acquisition and beyond.

Skills & Qualifications

🎮 Game Design: Gameplay, systems, economies, player behaviour. From AAA levels, combat, missions and player experiences to free-to-play game economies and LiveOps features. I have experience in all spectrums of Game Design.

🖌️Creative: Graphic design, storytelling, art direction. I have a range of creative skills and experience, from graphic design, user interface and presentation layout, and interactive storytelling through visual and written mediums.

🖥️ Technical: Prototyping, learning, understanding. I have a passion for bringing vision to life. Leaning into my UI skills, I implement front-ends and gameplay MVPs using languages ranging from Unreal Blueprint to C# in Unity.

📣 Leadership:  Performance, mentorship, respect. I’m an experienced leader who sets teamwide vision, mentors for performance and drives for innovation from the smallest teams to large-scale organizations. I lead with empathy and have experience building diverse and inclusive teams.

📦Product Management: Business value, priorities, strategy. Working with customers and users, I navigated feedback and business priorities to set a vision that took BlueBat’s flagship product through production to launch and customer adoption.

📈 Production: Lean, agile and continuous improvement. I believe in empowering teams and striving for excellence through agile and lean methodologies, as popularized by my previous advisor Eric Ries. Build, measure, learn - repeat. Seek improvement on each iteration.
